What was the highlight of Hotel Mas de la Serra
Fantastic location.
Fantastic location. Very isolated and quiet. Superb views across the hills and frequent sightings of local wildlife. Used the hotel as a base for the AragonGP, which was 45 mins drive away. Excellent food both at dinner ( fixed menu) and breakfast. Staff very helpful, personable and professional.
The only reason I have not rated this 10 across the board is the 4km track up the hillside is very rough and narrow. It is a gravel track and as I went there on my motorbike it was a severe challenge- ok if you were on a off roader - very tough on anything else.

A peaceful stay in a delightful remote location.
An isolated spot with attractive surroundings and all modern comforts. A warm welcome from the manager, plenty of helpful information about nearby places of interest and river gorges for walking. Good food - a Spanish/Peruvian fusion.
There was nothing we id not like.

The location is unbelievable, and the welcome that the hotel offers is excellent. Impossible to fault.
We liked everything, though maybe one could say that the squeaky floors in the bedrooms are pushing the boundaries of "charm"...? It really didn't bother us as long as it didn't bother the people below our room.

What was the highlight of Hotel Mas de la Serra
Fabulous location and warm welcome.
Fabulous location and warm welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is extremely comfortable and generous with lots of space to relax and chill out. The setting is quite special, remote beautiful and rare. You cannot see another house or building from anywhere. Luis and Jennie do everything to make your visit comfortable providing an enormous and delicious breakfast and evening meals too, if ordered in advance. The owners Alistair and Gayle are very hospitable and welcoming too. We were knocked out by the scenery and landscape in this undiscovered part of the world and will certainly be back.
Make sure you don’t hire a silly low slung sports car. The track is bumpy and you need something to clear the ruts. A low slung car is not suitable for this area anyway if you want to explore properly.
